The Franklin Police Department responded to 11 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Darren Darby, 29, of Isabella St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2025, at 5:46 AM, on a warrant dated November 11, 2025, for simple burglary. Darby was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Loren Wells, 50, of Hogan Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2025, at 10:53 AM, on a warrant dated March 5, 2021, for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Wells was booked, processed, and released on a $1,500.00 bond.
Joseph McDaniel, 44, of Pecan Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2025, at 7:04 PM, on a warrant dated October 24, 2025, for resisting an officer and disturbing the peace. McDaniel was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Jordan McDaniel, 32, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2025, at 9:53 PM, on a warrant dated October 29, 2025, for simple burglary. McDaniel was additionally arrested on warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance and second-degree battery.
McDaniel was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
