The Franklin Police Department responded to 55 calls for service over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Jaquincy Mouton, 32, of Elizabeth St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on October 17, 2025, at 9:26 PM, on the charges of battery of a dating partner, simple criminal damage to property – 2 counts, hit and run driving, interfering with emergency communication, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and aggravated criminal damage to property. Mouton was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driver must be licensed, possession of marijuana, and abuse of toxic vapors. Mouton was booked, processed, and held on a $71,485.00 bond.
Kevin Nedd, 63, of Fifth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 18, 2025, at 7:34 PM, on a warrant dated September 8, 2025, for violation of protective orders. Nedd was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Nedd was booked, processed, and held on a $6,000.00 bond.
Carl Joseph, Jr., 31, of Curtis Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 18, 2025, at 8:33 PM, on the charge of remaining where forbidden. Joseph was booked, processed, and held on a $750.00 bond.
Shontranice McDaniel, 30, of Robertson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2025, at 5:20 PM, on the charges of remaining where forbidden and possession of schedule II narcotics. McDaniel was booked, processed, and held on a $4,500.00 bond.
