The Franklin Police Department responded to 16 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Tyrelle Edwards, 26, of Highway 87, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2025, at 7:39 AM, on a warrant dated August 26, 2025, for illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. Edwards was booked, processed, and held on a $4,000.00 bond.
Derrion McDaniel, 20, of Plantation Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 16, 2025, at 5:27 PM, on a warrant dated September 2, 2025, for second degree battery. McDaniel was booked, processed, and released on an $8,000.00 bond.
