On June 27, 2025, at approximately 3:44 PM, the Franklin Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a local bank on Main Street.
The following arrest stems from that incident.
J’Trell Connor, 25, of Main St., Franklin, LA, with the assistance of the New Iberia Police Department, was arrested on August 26, 2025, at 3:09 PM, on a warrant dated June 28, 2025, for armed robbery, aggravated assault with a firearm – 6 counts, and false imprisonment. Connor was additionally arrested on a warrant dated July 9, 2025, for terrorizing and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. Connor was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
