The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Joseph Lewis, 35, of Cedar St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2025, at 5:08 PM, on the charges of theft and resisting an officer. Lewis was additionally arrested on a warrant for Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charge of burglary. Lewis was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
