The Franklin Police Department responded to 53 calls for service over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Jacaris Bais, 18, of Cayce St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 27, 2025, at 6:33 PM, on a warrant dated March 27, 2025, for gambling in public. Bais was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Richard Lajaunie, 57, of Hanson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM, on the charges of possession of stolen things – 2 counts, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft. Lajaunie was booked, processed, and held on a $6,000.00 bond.
Milton Green, 38, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 29, 2025, at 10:24 PM, on the charges of remaining where forbidden and resisting an officer. Green was booked, processed, and held on a $3,500.00 bond.
