St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 18 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Luc Van Nguyen, 56, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2023, at 7:56 pm for driving while intoxicated and reckless operation w/accident. Bail was set at $12,500.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
