The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Tyrus Polidore, 34, of Twelfth St., Franklin, LA, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested on July 14, 2023, at 9:09 AM, on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as sex offender and on a warrant for parole violation. Polidore was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
LaDarrius Davis, 25, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 14, 2023, at 1:22 PM, on a warrant for Patterson City Court for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Davis was booked, processed, and transported to the Patterson Police Department.
Dylan Daigle, 30, of Big Bear Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 14, 2023, at 4:35 PM, on a warrant dated July 4, 2023, for violation of protective order. Daigle was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Marie Sophus, 67, of Isabella St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 15, 2023, at 12:14 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by language. Sophus was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Chantay Johnson, 27, of Danos St., Raceland, LA, was arrested on July 15, 2023, at 6:08 PM, on the charges of speeding and driver’s license suspended. Johnson was booked, processed, and released on a $1,250.00 bond.
