On Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, as a result of the April 24th homicide investigation that claimed the life of 16-year-old Sidney Nelson Jr., warrants have been obtained for the arrests of two suspects
Anox Smith and Triston Butler, both 18 years old, have warrants for the charge of Second Degree Murder.
Butler was arrested and is currently in custody.
Both suspects are from East Houma and this is still an active investigation.
Further details will be released at a later date as the investigation develops.
