It’s Only a Test! Centerville, Franklin Fire Departments Hold Joint Training Exercise

The Centerville Volunteer Fire Department and Franklin Volunteer Fire Department held a joint fire training exercise Saturday morning on a donated structure along Highway 317.

Firefighters focused on reading smoke and the fire path throughout the structure as well as hose line deployment and water application.

The Franklin Fire Department said training sessions such as the one held on Saturday allow the departments to train and be prepared to work together on mutual aid calls.
