Identity Released of Male Body Found In New Iberia

The Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a male body that was discovered over the weekend in New Iberia. The body of 24-year-old Jacob Adams of New Iberia was found in the parking lot of a business located in the  2700 block of South Lewis Street.

The cause of death has not been released. The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office said on Monday that the investigation is ongoing and more information will be released once it becomes available.
