by KQKInews
1 minutes read

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office has joined Neighbors in an effort to connect with residents and improve the safety of communities throughout the Parish. Neighbors allows you, the user, to share photos, videos, and information related to local crime and safety incidents so fellow residents can stay informed.

The SMPSO can view what local residents have posted publicly to Neighbors and can chime-in with relevant updates or safety alerts to help residents stay informed.

More information on Neighbors:

  • You do not need a Ring device to join Neighbors.
  • Anyone with a smartphone can download the Neighbors App to receive updates and have the option to post
photos or videos from any device.
  • Feel free to spread the word and always report criminal activity or emergencies directly by calling 911 or contacting your local law enforcement agency.
  • For those in the unincorporated areas of St. Mary Parish, our number is 337-828-1960.

Neighbors is an app available on Google Play and the Apple App Store
