St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Gerald Joseph Druilhet Jr., 18, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 3:35 pm for murder-2nd degree and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
Druilhet was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency and was booked. Bail was set at 1,500,000.
Brice Tre Anthony Jones, 27, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 10:18 am on the following charges:
- Driving on roadway laned for traffic
- Turning movements and required signals
- No insurance
- Franklin P.D. warrant for failure to appear
Bail was set at $1,100.
Chet Williams, 55, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 2:29 pm for theft-motor vehicle. Williams was released on a $7,500 bond.
Dexter Cantrell Rudolph, 29, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 4:43 pm for illegal carrying of a weapon and obstruction of public passage. Rudolph was released on a summons to appear on August 26, 2022.
Jovon Allen Sanders, 29, Verdunville, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 10:57 pm for battery of a dating partner. Sanders was released on a $2,500 bond.
Mariah Lorraine Strick, 28, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 4, 2022, at 1:10 am for driving under suspension and proper equipment required on vehicles. Strick was released on a summons to appear on August 26, 2022.

Ashylon Miller, 21, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2022, at 10:48 pm for illegal possession of stolen firearm. Miller was released on a $50,000 bond.
