Video Update: No Survivors in Lafourche Helicopter Crash, Wreckage Found in Marshy Area

A suspected helicopter crash has been confirmed in Lafourche Parish. The wreckage was located in a marshy area and it was determined that the two occupants in the helicopter did not survive the crash.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced on Friday morning that deputies were investigating to a report of a helicopter crash near the west side of the South Lafourche Levee System. The crash was reported by a concerned citizen.
