14 year old Charged with Terrorizing after School Threat in Morgan City

On Thursday March 24th at around 4:17 p.m., Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division responded to Morgan City High School regarding a School Threat that was made via Social Media. A male juvenile, 14 years of age, that attends Morgan City High School was identified as the subject who posted threats to the school. Investigators obtained warrants for the juvenile’s arrest. The male juvenile was located and arrested on the active arrest warrant. He was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked on the charge of ???????????. The investigation is still ongoing. Chief James F. Blair wants to remind our citizens that the safety of our children in our schools are paramount. As threats are received they will be investigated to assure safety within our schools. The Morgan City Police Department is constantly in contact with school administrators to assure just that.
