At 5:21 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call of shots fired on St. Joseph Lane in Franklin. Deputies were dispatched to the area and upon arrival discovered one person with a non life-threatening gunshot wound’s. The victim was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
