Victim Injured in Morgan City Shooting

A Tuesday evening shooting that left a victim injured is under investigation in Morgan City.  The Morgan City Police Department received a call at 7:50 pm regarding shots fired in the area of Garber and Apple Streets. Although details are limited at this time, we can confirm that four persons of interest are currently in custody.

The victim’s condition is currently unknown at this time. The shooting comes after another call came into the Morgan City Police Department at approximately 6:00 pm regarding shots fired in the area of Federal Avenue and Orange Street, although there were no injuries reported.
