A large presence of law enforcement has been reported in the area of Federal Avenue and Orange Street in Morgan City regarding a shots fired complaint. After receiving several reports from eyewitnesses who saw numerous law enforcement officers responding to the scene, KQKI News reached out to the Morgan City Police Department, who said they are investigating a report of shots fired in the area, although there have been no injuries reported. We will update the story if, and when, more information becomes available.
