Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced that two Houma men have been arrested in connection with the 2015 murder of Pamela Johnson, of Country Drive in Bourg, who was 56 years old at the time of her death. Detectives have arrested Charles Johnson, 70, and Shannon Robinson, 43, as part of the investigation.
On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office learned of the discovery of two young girls found in the area of Wade Street in Houma by the Houma Police Department.
Deputies determined that the juveniles had allegedly been kidnapped by an unknown black male from their residence in Bourg, after the suspect shot their aunt on Monday night. Authorities also learned that the girls were located near a vehicle registered to Pamela Johnson. This discovery led deputies to respond to Johnson’s residence at 4024 Country Drive in Bourg, where they located her deceased body. Through the investigation, it was determined that Pamela Johnson had suffered a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Since the initial investigation, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives have worked tirelessly to bring justice to Pamela Johnson and her family. Recently, new evidence surfaced linking two Houma men to the murder.
On September 15, 2025, detectives arrested Charles Johnson, 70, of Houma at his residence on Grinage Street, charging him with First-Degree Murder and Solicitation for Murder. A short time later, detectives located and arrested Shannon Robinson, 43, of Houma, for First-Degree Murder, Solicitation for Murder, and Aggravated Kidnapping. Both men were booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex, where they are being held without bond.
