Thomas Patrick Scully, affectionately known as Pat, passed from this life into eternity at the age of 77 on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Pat was born on June 7, 1944 in New Orleans and was the second of three sons born to Edward and Eleanor Scully. He honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps. A devout Catholic, Pat cherished his faith and more importantly, he lived it. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed deer hunting. His greatest joy in life though was time spent with his family whom he deeply loved. He will be truly missed.

Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his wife of 55 years, Lindalee “Lynnie” Lorenzo Scully; his son, Keenan Scully and his wife Jennifer; three grandchildren, Taylor Fabre and her husband Kevin, Jake Scully, and Nick Scully; one great grandson, Donovan Fabre; four brothers-in-law, Mike Lorenzo and his wife Kay, Gary Lorenzo, Ricky Lorenzo and his wife Susie, and Mark Lorenzo; four sisters-in-law, Dona Scully, Brenda Boudreaux, Sandra Sakwa, and Sarah Ann Krilla and her husband Dennis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Edward Scully and Eleanor McCarthy Scully; two brothers, Michael Edward Scully and Walter Timothy Scully; four sisters-in-law, Jennie Scully, Cheryl Ann Patterson, Beverly Ann Lorenzo, and Carolyn Lorenzo Sauce; one brother-in-law, Joseph A. Lorenzo III; and his mother-in-law, Louise Navarre Lorenzo.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin, with Father Joel Faulk officiating. Inurnment will follow in Franklin Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of services, with the recitation of the rosary at 12:15.
