Tammy Angelia Plaisance, 61, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou Vista, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tammy was born November 27, 1960, the daughter of Roger Plaisance and Audry Dozar Plaisance.

Tammy retired from The Big Chill in August of 2021 to spend time with her family.

Tammy is survived by the love of her life, Whitney Rogers; one son, Catlin Plaisance and wife Ashley; her world and “Grammy’s babies,” Ella and Rhett Plaisance; three sisters, Hope, Stacy, and Pam; brother, Darrel.

A Graveside service will be held at a later date.
