St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that deputies responded to a shots-fired incident that occurred near in Centerville on Saturday night.
At 7:04 pm, dispatch received a call of shots fired in the area of Deforest Brown Lane. Upon arrival, deputies recovered shell casings and began an investigation into the incident. At this time, there are no known injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
