St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Clayton Joseph Johnson, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 30, 2025, at 7:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while under suspension for certain offenses. Bail has not been set at this time.
Joshua Mitchell Aucoin, 39, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on July 31, 2025, at 6:33 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Aggravated assault
- Resisting an officer
- Improper lane usage
- Failure to stop/yield at stop sign
- No driver’s license on person
- Possession of marijuana
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
Aucoin also held a MCPD warrant for failure to appear for the charges of speeding, driving under suspension, and contempt of court.
Bail has not been set at this time.
