St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:
James Anthony Tarleton, 28, Hopkinsville, KY, was arrested on July 14, 2022, at 2:39 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Criminal neglect of family
- Possession of clonzapam with intent to distribute
- Possession of alprazolam with intent to distribute
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
- Resisting a police officer with force or violence
Bail has not been set at this time.
