St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 93 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Judy Elizabeth Moore Alexander, 60, Centerville, LA, was arrested on June 14, 2024, at 8:30 pm on a warrant for obscenity. Alexander was released on a $15,000 bond.
Johnny Joseph Bonin, 63, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 14, 2024, at 11:44 pm for reckless operation-no accident. Bonin was released on a $500 bond.
Angel Giovanni Morales-Amaro, 20, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on June 15, 2024, at 11:17 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Bail has not been set at this time.
Demetrius James Green, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 15, 2024, at 3:18 pm on the following charges:
- Battery of a dating partner-aggravated
- Criminal damage to property-simple
- Interfering with emergency communication
- Resisting arrest or officer
Bail has not been set at this time.
Lance Christopher Terry, 40, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 16, 2024, at 6:11 pm for disturbing the peace by language and criminal trespass of a movable. Bail was set at $1,250.
