St. Mary Arrest Report 4-25-2022

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 111 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Joshua M. Aucoin, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 22, 2022, at 11:30 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of second-degree battery. Aucoin was released on a $5,500 bond.

Kelsey Dlaine Ventura, 34, Hammond, LA, was arrested on April 22, 2022, at 3:57 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II CDS (heroin), possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set.

Jade Michael Leblanc, 28, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on April 23, 2022, at 12:04 pm for driving under suspension and improper display of license plate. Leblanc was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

Steven Curtis Martin, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 23, 2022, at 4:49 pm for telephone calls-harassment. Martin was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

William James Moore, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2022, at 2:19 am for violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set.

Ronald Ray McDaniel, 61, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2022, at 10:34 am for turning movements/required signals and driving under suspension. McDaniel was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

Makai James Anthony, 18, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2022, at 4:28 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
  • Possession of firearm in the presence of a CDS
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Violation of uniform CDS law (drug-free zone)
  • Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities

Bail was set at $39,000.

Courtney Lashone Bourda, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2022, at 11:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Bourda was released on a paid fine.
