St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Amanda Gail Soudelier, 44, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 6:48 am for possession of marijuana. Soudelier was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.
Catrina Druilhet Stewart, 43, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 12:22 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of resisting an officer and criminal trespassing. Bail has not been set.
Johnisha Lashay Ayers, 27, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 5:13 for stalking and battery-simple. Bail has not been set.
Destiny Stefhnon Pharr, 21, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 5:13 for stalking and battery-aggravated. Bail has not been set.
Derick Damond Jackson, 35, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 7:40 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of marijuana
- Driver must be licensed
- Turning movements and required signals
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of CDS in the presence of a person under 17 years of age
Jackson was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.
George B. Knight, 61, Raceland, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 6:48 am for possession of marijuana. Soudelier was released on a summons to appear on June 24, 2022.
Ricky Anthony Dupre Jr., 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2022, at 10:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of $750 or less. Bail was set at $1,000.
Michelle Marie Hayes, 42, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 22, 2022, at 12:16 am on the following charges:
- Possession of methamphetamines
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Driver must be licensed
- Proper equipment required on vehicles
- Warrant for failure to appear

Joshua Jermaine Hopes, 38, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 22, 2022, at 12:16 am on the following charges:
