St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Christopher B. Claypool, 44, Scott, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 11:53 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of less than $1,000. Bail has not been set.
Buster Lee Henry, Jr., 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 2:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of $25,000 or more. Bail has not been set.
Austin McElroy, 24, Verdunville, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 7:29 pm for no insurance. McElroy was released on a summons to appear on March 17, 2021.
