St. Mary Arrest Report 12-20-2021

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 120 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Justin Omar Singleton, 24, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2021, at 9:42 pm for disturbing the peace criminal damage to property. Singleton was released on a $1,000 bond.

Joey Viltz, 56, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2021, at 10:09 pm for disturbing the peace criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace in a violent/tumultuous manner. Viltz was released on a summons to appear on March 17, 2021.

Devonte Deondre Weber, 28, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2021, at 4:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $1,000.

Allen Charles Brooks Jones, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2021, at 8:34 am for unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling. Bond was set at $7,500.

Brendon W. Bryan, 22, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2021, at 6:58 pm for speeding and driving under suspension. Bryan was released on a summons to appear on March 17, 2021.

Timothy Van Truong, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2021, at 11:33 pm on a warrant for the charges of possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of uniform CDS law. Bond was set at $6,000.

Edwin Belizaire, 33, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on December 19, 2021, at 6:28 am on a warrant for battery-simple, disturbing the peace-intoxicated, and resisting arrest or officer. Belizaire was released on a $6,000 bond.

Devontre Renoldo Phillips, 21, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 19, 2021, at 7:00 pm for stop signs/yield signs and driving under suspension. Phillips was released on a summons to appear on March 17, 2021.

Arthur Deshawn Jack, 26, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 20, 2021, at 12:31 am on the following charges:
