St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 78 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Russell Picard Jr., 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2022, at 4:09 pm for aggravated flight from officer. Bail has not been set at this time.
Mario Andino Lucas II, 37, Gretna, LA, was arrested on November 18, 2022, at 9:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of stolen things
- Possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
- Possession of schedule II CDS (amphetamine)
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Bail has not been set at this time.
Candice Nicole Ashley, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2022, at 7:52 am for child desertion. Bail has not been set at this time.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Terrance Poindexter, 35, Galliano, LA, was arrested on November 20, 2022, at 1:03 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, transactions involving drug proceeds, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.
