St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Darren James Rideaux Jr., 22, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2022, at 1:36 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of firearm by convicted felon
- Possession of firearm in the presence of a CDS
- Possession of marijuana
- No license plate
- Driver must be licensed
Bail has not been set at this time.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Arthur Gant, 63, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2022, at 6:18 pm for front light required at night, resisting an officer, and possession of schedule II (crack cocaine). Bail has not been set at this time.
