St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Darvin O. Perdo-Mochavez, 19, Metarie, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 12:55 pm on a warrant for carnal knowledge of a juvenile and rape-1st degree. Bail has not been set.
Hubert Terrell Lovett, 58, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 7:42 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Hit and run driving
- Careless operation of a motor vehicle
- Operating a vehicle without proof of insurance
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
Bail has not been set.
Debra Lynn Budd, 59, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 10:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks.

Samantha Marie Corbin, 29, Houma, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 6:22 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of CDS in the presence of a juvenile
- Improper turn signal
- Driving under suspension
Bail has been set at $6,000.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Nicole Fisher, 50, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 10, 2022, at 1:10 pm on three warrants for the following charges:
- Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of a legend drug without prescription
- Theft less than $1,000
