Ronald Trahan Sr., a quiet and humble man whose life was marked by integrity and grace, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was a man of few words but immense presence, and his legacy is one of hard work, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin, at which time a Liturgy of the Word Service will be officiated by Deacon Gerry Bourg. Graveside services will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Ronald lived a simple, honest life. He never sought attention or accolades, but those who knew him felt the strength of his character in every interaction. He was the kind of man whose steady presence brought comfort — a constant source of support, strength, and quiet wisdom.

His values were deeply rooted in the importance of family, the dignity of labor, and the power of kindness. He touched many lives not with grand gestures, but through his consistent acts of love, patience, and reliability.

Ronald’s life was a quiet testament to the strength of humility and the power of love. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving children; Ronald J. “RJ” Trahan Jr., Josephine Elizabeth Trahan; his stepchildren, Stephanie Borne Rowe and husband Daniel, Melissa Borne Fangue and husband Chad; his Grandchildren, Sarah Rowe, Nathan and Anthony Fangue, Landon and Leah Borne, Theresa “Resa” Trahan; his Great grandchildren; Parker Fangue; Siblings; Carroll J. Trahan Jr. and wife Denette, Catherine T. Louviere and husband Glenn, Michael Trahan, Martha T. Nichols and husband Larry.

Preceded in death; Theresa M. Trahan (Wife), Freddy Allen Borne (Son), Carroll J. Trahan Sr. (Father), Lena May Darcey Trahan (Mother), Salvador “Savy” Miciotto (Father-in-law), Josephine Berone Miciotto(Mother-in-law).

Pallbearers; Ryan Louviere, Arthur Louviere, Anthony Fangue, Daniel Rowe, Kenny Pellerin, Greg Pellerin, Scott Pellerin, Chad Fangue.
