Private First Class Danny Williams, 60, a resident of Verdunville, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 7:38 PM at Tennova Healthcare – Cleveland in Cleveland, TN.
Danny was a veteran of the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday December 4, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Military Honors will follow the funeral services. Inurnment will follow funeral services at a later date in the Golden Queen Cemetery in Centerville, LA.
Memories of Danny will forever remain in the hearts of his four daughters, Dana Peters of Verdunville, LA, Jalisa Williams of Sioux City, IA, Tracy Williams of Mobile, AL, and Kyra Japan Ryder Williams of San Antonio, TX; two step-daughters, Christina Peters of Mobile, AL and Alexis Minor of Jefferson City, MO; seven grandchildren, siblings, Fred Williams, III of Lafayette, LA, Ida Sigue of Patterson, LA, Mandy Brown of Franklin, LA, Elaine Williams and Lorraine Williams both of Verdunville, LA, and Vanessa (Gary) Francois of Lafayette, LA; two step-brothers, Edward Payton and Aaron Payton both of Patterson, LA; three god-children, Peter Ferguson, Danielle Brown, and Vernon Williams Sigur and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife, parents, god-father, a grandson, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
