Pierre Part Man Booked on Fugitive Warrants from St. Mary Parish

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kenneth Lee Benoit, 41, of 122 Teddy Street, Pierre Part, LA, on fugitive warrants from St. Mary Parish.

Deputies responded to a complaint of a disturbance at 122 Teddy Street on Wednesday evening and made contact with the homeowners. Deputies were advised that Kenneth Lee Benoit had become very angry and began to destroy household items.

Deputies made contact with Benoit and then conducted a criminal records check which revealed that Kenneth Lee Benoit was wanted on multiple failure to appear warrants in St. Mary Parish.

Kenneth Lee Benoit was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrants – Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Charge of Attempted Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (St. Mary Parish)
– Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Charge of Possession of Methamphetamine / Dextro Amphetamine (St. Mary Parish)

Kenneth Lee Benoit was released to the custody of St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
