On Sunday February 20, 2022 at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Morgan City Police Department responded to the area of the LA 182 Bridge in regards to a white male subject jumping off the bridge.
The male subject was located in the area of Brashear Ave. and succumbed to his injuries. There is no foul play suspected in the death. No other information is being released at this time as the incident is still under investigation by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division.
