NEW YORK CITY — Morgan City’s Executive Chef Willie Gaspard is among 11 distinguished Louisiana chefs selected to showcase the state’s culinary artistry at the “Taste Louisiana in New York City” event. This one-night-only celebration, held on October 28 at Chelsea Market, is a collaborative initiative by the Louisiana Travel Association, the Louisiana Office of Tourism, and their partners to promote Louisiana’s unique food culture as a key tourism driver.
Attendees will experience a multi-sensory journey, savoring signature dishes from some of Louisiana’s finest chefs, enjoying drinks from Louisiana brands, and listening to live music from award-winning artists Wayne Toups and David St. Romain.
Chef Gaspard brings a wealth of experience to the event as the executive chef at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel, a position he has held since 2001. His leadership has led his culinary team to over 100 medals and accolades in various Gulf Coast competitions.
