Lieutenant LaCoste Retires From MCPD

Chief James F. Blair announced the retirement of Lieutenant Kenneth LaCoste. Lieutenant LaCoste served the Morgan City Police Department since 1997. He served in various capacities which included Patrol, Detective and Narcotics Divisions. He worked his way through the ranks beginning his career as an officer receiving promotions of Sergeant and later Lieutenant. As a Lieutenant, LaCoste oversaw the Investigation and Patrol Divisions. Lieutenant LaCoste also was a Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Commander of the SRT Team. He continuously trained new and veteran officers keeping everyone up to date on Louisiana P.O.S.T. Requirements.
