MORGAN CITY — Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation has officially kicked off its annual Adopt a Resident program, inviting the community to help make this holiday season the brightest yet for its residents.
Each year, the program pairs generous community members with residents who may not otherwise receive gifts during the holidays. Participants can stop by Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, located at 740 Justa Street in Morgan City, to pick up an envelope containing details about a resident they can “adopt.” The envelope includes suggested gift ideas tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.
For questions about this year’s program, organizers encourage the public to call 985-384-1726 and ask for Jalisa or Amber, who are coordinating the initiative.
Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation hopes to see record participation this year as the community comes together to share kindness and holiday cheer with its residents.
