Larry Jones, Sr., 75, a native and resident of Patterson, LA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City, LA.
He is survived by his three sons; Larry Jones, Jr. of Jeanerette, LA, Troy Jones and Edward Jones, both of Patterson, LA; two daughters, Ashley (George) Washington of Patterson, LA and Andre (Shelby) Williams of Morgan City, LA; three brothers, Charles Jones and Floyd Jones, both of Patterson, LA, and Jeff (Rhonda) Jones of Cutoff, LA; four sisters, Maltilda Ray and Katherine Jones, both of Patterson, LA, Marion (Kenny) Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA, and Ann Jones of Meridian, MS; two aunts, Jeanette Levison of Lafayette, LA and Iva Mae Henton of Port Arthur, TX, nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alma Jones, Sr., his wife, Carol Jones; brothers, Joseph Jones, Jr. and Frank Jones; father-in-law, Edward Jennings; mother-in-law, Tisha Jennings; two sisters-in-law, Martha Welsh and Audrey Drayton.
