Inmate Being Held on Armed Robbery Escapes from Assumption Parish Detention Facility

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon has reported the escape of an inmate from the parish detention facility sometime early Tuesday evening.

The escaped suspect is identified as 19-year-old Roller Avila 19, a Hispanic Male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 125lbs.

Avila was being held for armed robbery. Anyone who sees or comes in contact with him, should not approach him.

Anyone with information on Avila’s whereabouts is asked to call the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s office immediately at 985-369-2912 or by dialing 911.

The individual is innocent until proven guilty.
