Adams Appointed as Morgan City Police Chief

Morgan City Police Captain Chad Adams has been appointed as Chief of Police.  The position became open when former Chief James Blair recently retired.  Adams was appointed by Morgan City Mayor Lee Dragna and was unanimously approved by the city council.  Adams brings 26 years of experience to the position.

Adams told KQKI News that his goal is to bring back community policing, and to get past COVID by bringing his officers back in the spotlight and getting them involved in the community
