Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of a Houma man, in connection with a series of recent burglary complaints reported to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Authorities arrested Frampton F. Parfait, 42, for felony charges in connection with the investigations.

On August 29, 2025, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) Patrol Division were called to a home on Trey Court and received information of a burglary that occurred in the area. Patrol Deputies were provided video evidence of the incident, which indicated the involvement of a single male suspect. While at the scene, Deputies discovered additional evidence and observed a male suspect in a nearby wooded area, who matched the physical description of the male suspect responsible for the burglary.

A short time later, Deputies were able to take the male into custody as he left the wooded area and were able to positively identify him as Frampton F. Parfait. As Parfait was taken into custody, Deputies located items on his person, which linked Parfait to a burglary and theft from a nearby structure.

Authorities arrested Frampton F. Parfait on charges of Simple Burglary, Attempted Theft, and Criminal Trespassing, and he was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Parfait remains in custody on a $50,000.00 bond by local judges.

After the incarceration of Parfait, Deputies were alerted to a July 14th burglary investigation, which occurred in the 6100 block of Shrimper’s Row. As Deputies furthered the investigation, they located evidence to support Frampton Parfait’s involvement in the incident. Deputies questioned Parfait in connection with the incident, who denied involvement. Deputies arrested Frampton F. Parfait on charges of Simple Burglary in connection with the investigation, which led to an additional $50,000.00 bond by local judges.

Sheriff Tim Soignet is pleased with the outstanding work completed by the TPSO Patrol Division in this investigation. Sheriff Soignet said, “These types of cases have plagued our bayou communities, and I am extremely proud of the men and women of our agency who continuously go above and beyond to bring these offenders to justice. We will continue to do what is necessary to rid our community of criminal behavior.”
