The Franklin Police Department responded to 21 calls for service over the past 24 hours. Among the incidents, Amyria Gant, a 20-year-old resident of Robertson St. in Franklin, was arrested while incarcerated at the police department. Gant was charged with two counts of resisting an officer with force on April 7, 2026, at 8:10 AM. Following her arrest, she was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
