The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Lena Thompson, 27, of Jutland Dr., Marrero, LA, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at 8:24 AM, on a warrant for Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple criminal damage to property. Thompson was booked, processed, and transported to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Tonya Clements, 39, of Lagneaux St., Duson, LA, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at 5:47 PM, on a warrant for probation violation. Clements was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Sharita Brooks, 37, of Robertson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at 6:40 PM, on a warrant for second degree battery. Brooks was booked, processed, and released on an $8,000.00 bond.
Karen Brooks, 38, of Plantation Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at 6:40 PM, on a warrant for second degree battery. Brooks was booked, processed, and released on an $8,000.00 bond.
