The Franklin Police Department responded to 60 calls for service over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Zabrion Toussaint, 24, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2025, at 9:46 AM, on the charge of cruelty to the infirmed. Toussaint was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Donovan Briscoe, 37, of Isabella St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2025, at 7:38 PM, on the charges of home invasion and simple criminal damage to property. Briscoe was booked, processed, and released on a $110,000.00 bond.
Hosey Provost, 41, of Baker Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM, on the charge of simple criminal damage to property, and on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Provost was booked, processed, and held on a $6,000.00 bond.
