Franklin Foundation Hospital has announced that it has recently appointed Tyler Duplantis as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Duplantis joined Franklin Foundation on May 16, 2022, and is responsible for Accounting and Finance, Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis, Operational Efficiencies, and Cost-Reduction Initiatives.
Prior to joining Franklin Foundation, Duplantis served in accounting and finance, healthcare management, operations, and executive roles in several other organizations in South Louisiana. He also served as the CFO of Teche Regional Medical Center and Physicians Medical Center & Gulf Coast Surgical Center, facilities offering acute and post-acute care, surgical procedures and other healthcare services in South Louisiana.
Duplantis completed his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Nicholls State University in 2011 and received his Financial Accounting Certificate from Harvard Business School in January 2020. He is also a certified specialist in Healthcare Financial Management and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
“My highest priorities in this role are to be a steward of our service district’s resources and a champion for the culture of this facility,” Duplantis said. “We have a really strong team here, and we’re out to prove that world-class care can be delivered at a Critical Access Hospital.”
