Franklin Arrest Report 9-1-2022
The Franklin Police Department responded to 7 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
On August 16, 2022, the Franklin Police Department was notified of a masked male subject that had been performing obscene acts in public in the early morning hours approximately twice a week in the area of Third Street and Trainor Street. After a lengthy investigation the subject was identified and arrested.
John Defils, 30, of Third St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 8:55 AM, on a warrant for City of Patterson Mayor’s Court for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Defils was additionally arrested on the charges of possession of marijuana – 2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obscenity – 8 counts. Defils was booked, processed, and held on a $30,000.00 bond.
Donald Belcher, 26, of Woodlawn Ranch, Houma, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 1:58 PM, on the charges of possession of marijuana – 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Belcher was booked, processed, and released on a $4,500.00 bond.
