The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Jose Rosales-Diaz, 31, of East 75th St., Cutoff, LA, was arrested on August 26, 2023, at 2:48 PM, on the charges of speeding and no driver’s license. Rosales-Diaz was booked, processed, and released on a $523.50 bond.
Hunter Boudreaux, 21, of Bigler St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 27, 2023, at 1:20 AM, on warrants for City Court of Morgan City for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace by fighting, speeding, and driver must be licensed. Boudreaux was booked, processed, and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
Steven Richard, 42, of Anderson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 27, 2023, at 12:20 PM, on a warrant dated August 24, 2023, for theft of utility property – 2 counts. Richard was additionally arrested on the charge of resisting an officer. Richard was booked, processed, and held on a $5,500.00 bond.
