The Franklin Police Department responded to 20 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Deondric Butler, 27, of Ninth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 08, 2022, at 9:19 AM, on a warrant dated June 29, 2022, on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Butler was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Gerald Dupas, 36, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 08, 2022, at 4:20 PM, on the charge of battery of a dating partner. Dupas was additionally arrested on a warrant dated July 01, 2022 on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Dupas was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at time of press release.
